Savannah, GA, May 12, 2008: Gulfstream Aerospace, a subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), today announced changes to its senior management team, precipitated by the scheduled retirement of Raynor Reavis, senior vice president, Marketing and Sales.

“I am delighted to announce the appointment of Larry Flynn as senior vice president, Marketing and Sales,” said Joe Lombardo, president, Gulfstream Aerospace. “Larry has been a member of the Gulfstream leadership team for the past 11 years. As such, he has had an active say in the direction and growth of the company and has been responsible for managing our award-winning, international product support network.”
Flynn, who joined Gulfstream in 1995, is also a vice president of General Dynamics and has been president, Gulfstream Product Support, and president, General Dynamics Aviation Services. In these last two appointments, he was responsible for managing 12 company-owned service centers as well as an international network of authorized repair stations.

When he assumes his new position on June 30, Flynn will turn over his product support responsibilities to Mark Burns, a 25-year Gulfstream veteran who has been vice president, Customer Support, Gulfstream Product Support. Burns has been directly involved in customer support activities in progressively senior appointments for the past 16 years. As of June 30, 2008, he will be president, Gulfstream Product Support, and president, General Dynamics Aviation Services, and join Gulfstream’s leadership team.

"Raynor Reavis leaves behind an impressive record of new product launches and record sales growth during his tenure,” continued Lombardo. “Because Larry has been responsible for ensuring our customers remain satisfied after the sale with their choice of a Gulfstream business jet, his knowledge of our customer base is outstanding. And Mark’s expertise in product support ensures we will maintain our leadership position in this all-important area.”

Reavis has had a long and distinguished career in the aviation industry. In addition to his appointments at Gulfstream, he also held senior sales positions with NetJets, Raytheon Aircraft, British Aerospace and the initial start-up of SimuFlite Training International. He is a graduate of Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics.

Flynn has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in manpower management from the University of Kansas. He and his wife, Sarah, live in Hilton Head. They have two daughters.
Burns holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Southern University. He and his wife, Donna, live in Savannah. They have two children.

Detailed biographies and photos of both Flynn and Burns are available on the Gulfstream Web site.
