Deadline Looms For Controller Safety Credentials

Faa_logo1
FAA has set an Oct. 1 deadline for all of its controllers to hold a new safety credential, in order for them to perform ATC duties. The new credentialing program is overseen by FAA’s Air Traffic Safety Oversight organization. The credential requirement was applied to ATC system technicians last year. The program will eventually include 25,000 FAA employees.
