« Nigeria: Poor Aircraft Maintenance Hinders Aviation Safety | Main | Senate wants to tighten up air safety at foreign service centers »

April 30, 2008

Clark Gordon

This is a great mile stone for all aviation maintenance professionals. It is an honor to know our Congressional House of Representatives recognizes our professionalism, hard work, unique skills, and dedication to continued education so others can rest assured they fly in safety with the best maintained aircraft in the world.
The passage of H.RES 444 is not enough, it is incumbent on all of us to continue supporting this endeavor and see its passage in the Senate. Take a moment to write your Senator and explain why this is important to you.
PAMA will continue to lead the charge with the support of other organizations to lobby for the recognition of AMT Day nationwide with the passage of this bill in the Senate.
